These guidelines keep threads useful for people doing the work.
- Stay technical. Every topic should be about how Bitcoin or Lightning works, could work, or is implemented.
- Back claims up. Link specs, code, data or papers. Label estimates and models as such.
- One idea per topic. Put proposals in Proposals, with a link to the draft text.
- Disclose interests. If you work on, fund or profit from what you’re discussing, or a grant organisation pays for your work, say so.
- No price talk, promotion or harassment. Moderators may move, close or remove posts that don’t fit.
- Quote fairly. Short quotes with attribution are fine; don’t repost others’ work wholesale without permission.
- Flag, don’t feed. Use the flag button for off-topic or abusive posts instead of replying.
